Welcome to NBDRA's second recreational ride hosted in the Fredericton region. This year we had Peter Blank, our very own NBDRA member, plan the route to be a fun time for all. We have kept in mind our newer riders and aim to offer a fairly easy ride and some nice spots to visit. Come join us on September 17th for a guided Dual-Sport ride. All riders are required to have the proper registration & insurance to be able to ride on the road. The group will meet at the Ultramar located at 22 Route 628, Penniac, NB E3A8X3 @ 10am. Kickstand goes up at 10:30am. The day will be filled with great opportunities to enjoy your favourite sport and help build confidence in your riding. WHAT TO EXPECT
The ride is approximately 150km of mixed riding. There is a minimal amount of pavement that will be used to connect from trail to trail. There is also an option for gas approximately midway in the day including a nice spot to stop and have a riverside lunch break.
There will be dirt roads, atv trails & pipeline. Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoide water puddles which are to be expected. There will also be a few more fun / challenging spots where we will make sure no one is left behind. If required, coaching & assistance will be provided. (Those are the ideal moments to improve your skills while not straying to far away from your comfort zone.)
We will ensure that all participants are well guided and will wait at all forks/intersections to ensure the group stays together.
Please note that this ride is better suited for dual-sport motorcycles. It is possible for adventure bikes but would require a high level of comfort. Adventure bikes not recommended.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
This is also a great way to meet new people, make friends and find other people to go ride with.
We hope to see a lot of you there to join the fun!
In case of rain, the event will be held on Sunday. If there is further rain on Sunday, the event will be postponed & participants will be notified.
